IRRATIONALS
Click for larger pictures and more information
All Irrationals are based on the same design, with the colours positioned to create a variety of optical effects.
They are called Irrationals because the first time we used this design (for a knitted garment) it was with one set of squares parallel to top and bottom. We came to realise that this could never become a sweater that matched properly at the sides because the proportions of the shapes rely on ‘irrational numbers'.
The sweater design can be seen here along with more information.
