CURVE OF PURSUIT
Steve’s first design for a 3D printed model.
It was inspired by our knitted Curve of Pursuit which has always been one of our most popular designs.
Blog post about making this, and some information about the knitted versions.
He went on to make a ‘skeleton’ version. This needs to have a lot of supports to hold up the structure. They are trimmed away afterwards. Most of the yellow supports were cut off but you can still see the remains of them. The model could be cleaned up and polished but it was only an experiment so it was left like this.
